Our Lego Program
Our Lego® Social Skills Program is an evidence-based, play-focused group designed to help children develop essential social skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Over the course of eight weeks, children will participate in a range of activities that encourage communication, cooperation, and problem-solving.
Program Structure
-
Duration: 8 Sessions
-
Session Length: 90 minutes
-
Group Size: Small groups to ensure individualised support and interaction
-
Facilitators: Trained professionals experienced in social-emotional development and play-based therapy
-
Commencing: Term 1 2026
Each weekly session targets a specific social skill, which is taught, discussed, and then immediately practiced through collaborative Lego® activities. This hands-on approach allows children to learn by doing, helping them to internalise skills in a meaningful and memorable way.
Who is the Program For?
Our programs are aimed at all primary school aged children who are in need of assistance developing their social skills. We are a neuroaffirming organisation, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence. Social Sprouts is able to provide support to NDIS participants who are Plan-Managed, or Self-Managed.
Support for Parents
We believe that parent involvement is key to lasting success. That’s why we offer weekly parent information guides, which include:

-
An overview of the week’s focus skill
-
Tips for reinforcing the skill at home
-
Suggested conversation starters and activities
-
Progress strategies and observations from facilitators

These guides empower you to be an active part of your child’s social development journey and help reinforce learning between sessions.
